National Board Certification Components 2-3 Preparation

In this 10-week course, you will be guided through understanding the forms and materials necessary for submitting National Board Certification Components 2 and 3. You will review handbook-specific requirements, and upload drafts of materials for colleagues and the course facilitator to review and provide feedback. This course is scheduled as weekly modules to keep you on track, but the work can be completed at your own pace.

 

There is not an expectation that you fully complete all materials and/or submit your materials for National Board Certification scoring, but the materials you gather and create may eventually be submitted for your NBCT portfolio requirements. To complete this course, you will need a classroom of students, as well as the time and focus to devote to keeping up with the weekly modules.
