Full course description
Intended for SU faculty and staff teaching. This course may be taken individually or as part of the Soaring with Online Learning certificate program. At the heart of any course are the interactions between learner-instructor, learner-content and learner-learner. In this course you will explore best practices for creating and managing effective asynchronous and/or synchronous online interactions. Topics include effective online discussions and engaging synchronous Zoom sessions.
This course is intended to be self-paced with opportunities to participate in optional synchronous Zoom meetings to practice facilitating live synchronous sessions. A certificate of completion will be given to individuals who earn an 80% or higher for the course.
